Elixinol describes itself as a “seed-to-sale hemp extract company.” According to their website: “Elixinol hemp extracts are made from hemp plants grown in the USA. We work closely with farmers from seed to sale, ensuring quality throughout the process.”
Extraction method
From Elixinol’s website: “While each process has its benefits and drawbacks, we always choose the cleanest, highest quality extraction methods – predominantly CO2 extraction. This method creates the highest quality hemp extract, with a process that’s also safer and better for the environment. When we use something other than CO2, we do so in order to comply with strict standards like USDA organic which requires clean ethanol since CO2 cannot be certified organic.”
